Abstract

This IDC study provides a worldwide and regional view of IDC's forecast for system management software-as-a-service revenue for 2012–2016, with vendor shares for 2011 included for historical context.

"In 2011, ServiceNow displaced HP as the leader in the fast-growing system management software-as-a-service market," states Mary Johnston Turner, research vice president, IDC's Enterprise System Management Software. "After slowing somewhat last year, the worldwide system management software-as-a-service market is expected to experience a 19.6% CAGR for 2011–2016 and total more than $1.2 billion by 2016."
