Abstract

This IDC study provides a five-year forecast for the content management software market for 2012–2016.

"The content management software market — including document management, capture and image management, Web content management, digital asset management, and records management — grew 10.1% in 2011 driven by compliance and information governance, the need to put content to work in the context of the business process, and the rise of digital marketing," said Melissa Webster, program vice president, Content and Digital Media Technologies at IDC. "We expect to see the content management market continue to do well in coming years in all of these areas."
