"Through buyer research, IDC sees that clients are generally pleased with the depth of their vendor's compensation management offerings. However, buyers generally would like better integration with core HR and more meaningful reporting and analytics," says Lisa Rowan, program director, HR, Talent, and Learning Strategies for IDC. "From IDC's perspective, a number of the vendors could beef up depth of planning for compensation analysts and do more to help managers easily identify pay inequities."
