Abstract

This IDC Flash looks at a recent announcement from SailPoint concerning cloud access management software tightly integrated with identity governance and provisioning. Called AccessIQ, the new SaaS offering provides business users with single sign-on (SSO) and an App Store from which to request cloud applications while also offering enterprise IT the ability to monitor, control, and report on dynamic access and fine context–based user activity within a SaaS/cloud computing model. SailPoint, a privately held company based in Austin, Texas, currently has 160 enterprise customers across many industries, including finance, insurance, and healthcare. SailPoint competes with Oracle, CA Technologies, Courion, NetIQ, Aveksa, and custom third-party products in the identity governance market.
