Abstract

This IDC Presentation offers results from IDC's ConsumerScape 360 Survey fielded February–March 2012, pertaining to device ownership by subscribers of pay TV services from leading U.S. providers. Survey results for respondents' device ownership are presented for smartphones, media tablets, HDTVs, 3DTV, DVRs, Blu-ray players, digital media adapters, game consoles, and stereo receivers/AV receivers. Results are broken down by respondents' pay TV service providers to show how device ownership differs depending on service provider. Pay TV providers included in the results are telco TV providers AT&T U-verse TV and Verizon FiOS TV, satellite TV providers DIRECTV and DISH Network, and cable operators Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Charter, and Cablevision.
