Abstract

This IDC Presentation examines the results of a Web-based survey administered by IDC to CLO magazine's Business Intelligence Board (BIB) regarding the use of technology in learning and development. Enterprise strategies are continuing to evolve: What business priorities organizations must respond to, priorities for learning and development technology, and changing spending patterns and deployment options. This Presentation discusses our look into learning technologies and how their use is evolving. In this survey, more than 250 BIB respondents shared their thoughts on the appropriate mix of technology.

"Learning technology is leveraged to support a very wide set of requirements: delivery, creation, and administration. Learning and development organizations are increasingly leveraging technology to drive relevance and efficiency in training." — Cushing Anderson, vice president, Corporate Learning Research at IDC
