This IDC Presentation discusses IDC's 2015 Cloud Marketing Barometer Survey, which explores the marketing shifts exhibited by emerging cloud software vendors. This Presentation is relevant for two audiences. First, it provides cloud software marketers with frameworks and benchmarks by which to shape and then monitor their marketing execution. Second, it is a road map for 2nd Platform ISV's (traditional premise-based software vendors) that are shifting their offerings to a cloud/Saas model.
The Cloud Marketing Barometer Survey was administered in January and February 2015. IDC received 56 completed surveys from vendors ranging in $10m in revenue to $500m or greater.
This survey, conducted by IDC's CMO Advisory Service, utilizes past data combined with the new survey results to produce this Presentation.
