It also presents a five-year forecast with key market insights and assumptions that are likely to have a strong impact on ICT Vietnam market growth in 2011–2016.

"The impact of macroeconomics in 2011 has stifled business growth in 2012. Moving forward, IDC believes that the country policy makers will introduce aggressive market reforms and policy adoption, as well as restructure its growth strategy, which will set the economy on the road to a quick recovery. As an emerging country, investments in ICT and infrastructure will play a strong role in driving the transformation of Vietnam's economy over the next five years. Vietnam's ICT market in 2011–2016 is estimated to reach a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.9%.
