This IDC study examines recent end-user survey results on the topic of project-based IT services. The IT professional services market continues to suffer under the constraints of the global economy; however, recent IDC Canada survey data illustrates that there are still opportunities for vendors.

"Over the course of the next 12 months, medium-sized and large Canadian businesses will continue to evaluate IT consulting, systems integration, and custom application development projects," says Jim Westcott, research manager, Application Solutions. "Buyers are generally aware that they occupy the position of strength and that suppliers will have to be accommodating and patient in order to win new projects."
