Abstract

This insight summarizes the impressions of the EMEA network Life Cycle Services team, which attended the recent Orange Business Services two-day event in Paris. It was an opportunity for Orange Business Services to provide an update of the Conquests 2015 strategy released one year ago. At the 2011 event, the B2B arm of France Telecom announced its objectives for 2015: €300 million growth in revenue compared to 2010; €1 billion revenue in emerging markets; services contributing to 33% of overall revenue; and maintaining an 18.3% earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin. To deliver on these, Orange Business Services is focusing its strategy across eight growth areas: cloud computing, video offers, customer contact solutions, security services, mobile multinational corporation (MNC) solutions, the "Internet of Things", very high speed broadband, and workspace of the future.
