"Corporations are exploring the advantages of mobile working more seriously as a way to reduce corporate space leasing expenses. The number of mobile-data-enabled workers is expected to grow at a much higher rate as operators will offer more, which will be better suited for enabling mobile working. At the same time mobile devices and technologies that are available to mobile workers are becoming more innovative than ever before. Our survey shows that in 2016 the percentage of employees that will be equipped with a smartphone will reach 65% from the current 59% on average. Prices for these devices are dropping and they will continue this way for the next couple of years, enabling a larger segment of workers to become mobile at less cost for the company overall," said Rosie Secchi, research manager, European Enterprise Mobility.
