"The Western European systems management software market continues to show robust growth, and it is expected to reach roughly $5.5 billion by 2019," said Carla Arend, program director, IDC European Cloud Practice. "Growth will be driven by an increasing requirement for automation and orchestration from European organizations deploying private, hybrid, and public cloud architectures as well as the need for analytics to optimize datacenter operations and ensure service-level agreement compliance."
"Advances in systems management are increasingly driven by developers and new applications that focus on mobile devices. More and more sensors and other data-collecting points are being added to obtain the benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT) in improving security, uptimes, and predictions as well as gain insight into the usage of systems and IT resources," added Andreas Olah, senior research analyst, IDC European Datacenters and Big Data.
