Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight analyzes how strategic software development and delivery sourcing plans are evolving in 2024 compared with 2023. The document analyzes whothe most important partners in application delivery are, looking at different types of vendors and services providers, including the primary software development/delivery platforms, primary DevOps tools platform vendors, public cloud vendors, low-code platform vendors, primary application services providers, and primary consulting partners. The document also looks at how the various roles and profiles within the decision-making process are evolving their preferences for engagement at strategic level with the previously mentioned types of vendors and service providers.
The document is based on a question from IDC's European DevOps and Modern App Delivery Survey, September 2023. The survey covered 600 organizations with more than 500 FTEs across Europe with capabilities in software development and delivery.
