IDC Energy Insights' Top Ten Predictions for the EMEA Utilities industry will discuss the major technology trends in 2013 and beyond. IDC Energy Insights Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Roberta Bigliani, will lead the discussion with her team of senior analysts. The predictions will address the key business and technology opportunities utilities should be considering in their transitioning role for the new energy paradigm. Electricity /gas / water smart network management, smart metering, customer engagement, smart integration of distributed generation, storage and electric vehicles and energy management will be among the topics discussed. Emphasis will be on the opportunities utilities can grasp leveraging: Mobility, Cloud, Analytics and Big Data, and Social Business.
