In 2012, the global telecommunications industry just about returned to the levels of revenue and growth seen before the 2008-2009 economic meltdown. Growth is still hard to come by, but there are clear indicators of new revenue momentum in mobile Internet, 4G/LTE, video, ultra broadband, enterprise IPO services, and other pockets of innovation.
Based on IDC's Global Telecom Indicators, this Web conference will review the 2012 performance of the world's telecommunications service providers, covering revenues, connections, capital programs, and profitability. The performance differences among the service providers will be highlighted by examining patterns across mature and emerging markets, and between growth GDP countries and declining GDP countries. The presentation will also identify the growth drivers and inhibitors in consumer, small business, and enterprise segments. Attendees will get a view of which service providers will be the winners and losers in driving revenue, and which companies will succeed in selling solutions to service providers in 2013 and beyond.
Session Speakers:
Mark Winther, Group Vice President and Consulting Partner, Worldwide Telecommunications
