This study also analyzes FC switches shipment performance from shipment unit, shipment port unit, and factory revenue perspectives, and forecasts the performance in terms of shipment port unit and factory revenue. Moreover, this study analyzes how the diverging protocols will influence the Japan storage networking infrastructure by reviewing the Japan external enterprise storage system market revenue performance from 2011 to 2014 and forecast until 2019 according to detailed installation environment (Direct-attached storage [DAS], Mainframe Networked, network-attached storage [NAS], Fibre Channel Storage Area Network [FC-SAN], Internet Small Computer Systems Interface [iSCSI], Fibre Channel over Ethernet [FCoE], Serial Attached SCSI Storage Area Network [SAS-SAN], and InfiniBand).
