Overall, the Nordic enterprise voice connections market is forecast to increase by 1.7% CAGR in the forecast period. In this market, customer premises–based systems are forecast to decrease, while hosted-based solutions are forecast to increase. "Even though we have seen much hype around the transition of customer-premises equipment (CPE) to a hosted-based connection among vendors, the reality in terms of actual business connection type is lagging far behind the hype. CPE-based voice business connections will continue to be the most predominant business connection type in the Nordics throughout the forecast period," said Jason Andersson, research manager, IDC EMEA Telecom and Networking.
