IDC's annual WAN Manager Survey highlights the view of 1,450 organizations throughout EMEA. This study contains the WAN Manager survey's demographics and methodology. It forms the basis for a series of reports including EMEA WAN Manager Survey 2011: EMEA Attitudes Toward Network Life-Cycle Services, UC and VOIP, Green IT, Video, and Network Life-Cycle Services and UC in Sweden and Germany. "IDC's WAN Manager Survey shows that drivers for networking spending in EMEA remain strong. Companies continue to invest into security (39.5%) and server virtualization (39.2%), followed by improving WAN application performance and voice data convergence with 36% and 33%, respectively," said Sylvia Wünsche, research analyst, EMEA Telecommunications and Networking team.
