Ms. Frasco is responsible for IDC's worldwide research in the areas of hardcopy peripherals trackers and forecasts. She has over fifteen years of experience in forecasting and analyzing the hardcopy market opportunity, as well as working on quantitative consulting engagements and market models. She is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the research efforts of all international hardcopy peripheral analysts (U.S., Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, Eastern/Central Europe/Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and Japan).
Her responsibilities include forecasting all hardcopy peripheral hardware technologies and providing insightful, timely product analysis to clients. Ms. Frasco has conducted large research and consulting projects on the U.S. and worldwide hardcopy peripheral markets, on an annual and quarterly basis. She has written reports on printers, MFPs, copiers, color, the A3/A4 printer market, user segmentation, vertical markets, and new technologies as they relate to the hardcopy peripherals industry.
Ms. Frasco designed and launched IDC's very successful Worldwide Quarterly Printer Tracker. She also launched IDC's new program Document Output Trends and Supplies, which focuses on page volume trends and the very important supplies opportunity. She has received several IDC Consulting Achievement Awards, and an IDC Excellence Award for teamwork. She has been with IDC since 1992.
She regularly gives presentations regarding product strategy, competitive intelligence, and emerging market opportunities at dealer conferences, trade shows and at customer sites. She is quoted in such publications as the Wall Street Journal and Investor's Business Daily. Her technical background and training give her a solid understanding of current and new technologies emerging in the printer industry.
Ms. Frasco received a B.A. in physics and computer science from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA.
