Rajnish Arora has more than 10 years of market research, consulting and advisory experience in the Information Communications and Technology industry.
Based in IDC's regional headquarters in Singapore, Rajnish is responsible for managing the Enterprise Servers & Workstations group in the Asia/Pacific region. Rajnish leads a team of analysts across regional and country offices, who are responsible for quarterly market sizing, competitive analysis, market segmentation by vertical industries & business segments, and channel dynamics impacting the enterprise computing market in the Asia/Pacific region.
Rajnish is widely regarded in the industry as an authority on the enterprise computing market for his comprehensive understanding of platform and technology trends, applications and solutions underpinning demand patterns across vertical markets, and key strategies for vendors’ success.
Prior to joining IDC Asia/Pacific in Singapore in 1999, Rajnish worked with IDC Middle East across UAE (Dubai), Egypt and Turkey. He was responsible for IDC's Middle East research portfolio of trackers and continuous information service programs in the area of PCs, Enterprise Servers, Peripherals and Networking products. At IDC India, Rajnish worked in the cross-products research team before leading the PC and Enterprise Systems quarterly research.
Fluent in English and Hindi, Rajnish is frequently quoted in various trade and industry publications, and media including BBC, CNBC, Channel News Asia, CNET.com, ZD Net, the Asian Wall Street Journal, the Business Times, and Computerworld. He is also frequently invited to present at industry forums, client events, and at vendor strategy workshops.
Rajnish holds an MBA from Lancaster University in the UK and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Roorkee University in India.
