Boris Zitnik

Boris Zitnik has been working for IDC CEMA since 1996, leading the research and analysis of the IT market in Croatia. With the founding of an IDC subsidiary in Croatia in 2001, Zitnik became the head of IDC Hrvatska. With the renaming the subsidiary to IDC Adriatics in 2004, Zitnik became managing director and is now responsible for tracking the ICT market in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Albania.
As a founder of the "industry analyst" profession in the region, Zitnik went through the entire IDC product portfolio, authoring numerous studies and participating in consulting projects. He is currently focused on IT services market research and special projects for the government sector, and has been regularly quoted in leading business and professional magazines.
Prior to working for IDC, Zitnik was an assistant professor at Zagreb University, a director at the State Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Prognosis, and a head of the Foreign Economic Relations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Zitnik holds a master's degree in business management from the Faculty of Economics at Zagreb University.
