Vice President, Thought Leaderhip and Sales Enablement Practices
As Vice President, Thought Leadership and Sales Enablement Practices with IDC’s corporate headquarters in Boston, Jason is a global architect of custom thought leadership and integrated marketing programs covering all leading and most recent technology trends. Recent engagements include development of primary research programs to drive global thought leadership programs on cloud, big data and consumerization of IT trends. His current responsibility is to design, execute and supervise go-to-market programs for a variety of key IDC clients in the software, hardware and telecom industries. He also designs and manages custom consulting engagements at IDC’s Executive Advisory practice providing support to IDC clients in the CMO, and CSO offices.
His first 7 years at IDC, he worked as a Director in the global software consulting group and as a Consulting Manager for IDC Latin America. He designed and managed programs to assist vendors in solving problems related to market entry, market expansion, partnering, market awareness, and competitor & customer understanding/analysis.
His current role draws upon over 18 years of north american and international market research and consulting engagements, including 6 years of experience living and working in Latin America.
Prior to joining IDC, his professional experiences include positions as Managing Director of IT Marketing Services, S.A. in Costa Rica, an Associate of Branham Group Inc., a go-to-market consulting firm in Ottawa, Canada, and a Project Director for an international aid project run out of Costa Rica by Marbek Resource Consultants. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. Other academic experience includes a Diploma in Advanced Spanish Studies, from the Centro Panamericano de Idiomas in Costa Rica.
