Program Vice President, Worldwide Tracker Research
Lidice Fernandez, Program Vice President of IDC's Worldwide Tracker Research, is responsible for managing all areas of product operations from product concept, implementation, roadmap, process and delivery for all Server, Storage, Enterprise Networks, and Security Appliances Trackers globally for IDC.
Lidice leads a team of analysts who are responsible for the execution and delivery of more than 10 Worldwide Tracker services at IDC. She frequently interacts with worldwide and regional analysts to gain insight on the worldwide enterprise markets as well as with all market players to understand all aspects of customer’s business and associated markets.
Prior to her role in the Worldwide Tracker group, Lidice directed IDC's Enterprise programs for Servers, Storage, and IT Services in Latin America. During her 7-year tenure within the IDC Latin group she also was responsible for all regional research and consulting projects focused on the enterprise markets.
Lidice possesses more than 10 years of market research expertise on IT solutions and related areas as she has participated in vendor infrastructure and electronic media companies. Prior to joining IDC, Lidice worked for Sun Microsystems Mexico, worked as a sales executive for a Sun Microsystems reseller, and successfully launched the Streaming and Multimedia services for StarMedia Network, Inc. in Mexico.
Lidice holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, and a Bachelor in Electronic and Communications Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey. She is fluent in English.Team: Worldwide Quarterly Tracker,
