Amber Chin is a Research Manager at IDC's Asia/Pacific End-User Research & Statistics Group, based in Malaysia. Amber’s responsibilities include the development and management of surveys, modeling and statistical analysis, and the interpretation of quantitative results for both internal and external clients across the Asia/Pacific region.

Amber joined IDC in 2004. She is involved in the project management of end-user surveys and provides research support to IDC's analysts. This involves qualification of fieldwork agents, managing requests for quotes of end-user studies, managing the fieldwork & data quality and the preparation of results for analysts’ review.

Amber also manages a 28-seat capacity research Survey Call Center (SCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - ensuring that the process is consistent and effective in producing quality end-user research feedback for the Asia/Pacific countries.

Amber holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics from the National ZhengZhi University, Taiwan.
