As Research Manager, Cristina is in charge of leading all aspects related to the Consumer Research and Consulting programs for IDC in Mexico, which include PCs, Monitors, Tablets, Mobile Devices, Hardcopy Peripherals, Digital Cameras, Projectors, Headphones, Personal Media Players, among others. She is responsible for enhancing research production focusing in three main vectors: quality, value and advice for clients. Due to her knowledge of the market, Cristina is quoted constantly in leading media communications, in addition to being a speaker in national and international forums related to the IT industry.

Before her current role at IDC Mexico, Cristina was the Research Manager for the Southern Cone of Latin America at IDC. Her main focus was on developing and consolidation of the research programs in Argentina, Chile and Peru as well as supporting business development for IDC in that region.

Cristina has more than ten years of experience in the analysis of markets and more than eight focused on the IT and Telecommunications markets in Latin America. Prior to joining IDC she worked for Indestra as an analyst for projects of Competitive Intelligence related to the software market, in addition to developing new products for the company, related to the Telecommunications market. Before working for Indestra, Cristina was a Senior Analyst at Servicios de Estrategia en Electrónica doing research on markets such as Networking Equipment and Internet access services.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México. She is a native Spanish speaker and speaks English as a second language.
