Team: EMEA Software

As research director in the European Software group, Rasmus Andsbjerg is involved in overall software research in Western Europe, ensuring consistency, completeness, and accuracy across software forecasts, shares, trackers, and other data models. He is responsible for the European Software Market Forecaster products and a number of European Software Trackers.

Prior to his current position Andsbjerg was responsible for managing the European Business Intelligence and Analytic Applications research service. He started out in IDC's regional Nordic office participating in various local research projects with a broad view on IT, including IT services, hardware, software, and telecoms through both primary research projects and custom consulting engagements.

Before joining IDC, Andsbjerg received a master's degree in business strategy and management from the Aarhus School of Business, while in parallel working as a tutor for bachelor students, teaching subjects such as research methodologies and organizational behavior and theory. Working at the Institute for Organization and Management at the Aarhus School of Business, Andsbjerg managed various research projects. In addition, during this period Andsbjerg held a part-time job in a local business research company, Aalund Business Research.
