Research Director, End-User Research & Statistics Group, IDC Asia/Pacific
Letchmy Ganapathy is the Research Director of IDC's Asia/Pacific End-User Research & Statistics (ERS) Group based in Singapore. She is responsible for the demand-side research for both custom consulting and syndicated research engagements and assessment of end-user sentiments in the corporate/commercial, public sector, and consumer sector, as well as in the suppliers/channel partners segment. In her role, Ganapathy manages a team of statisticians and sets the standard for integrating demand-side research into analytical processes. As a result, IDC is able to offer reliable market intelligence data to help clients make sound business decisions.
Ganapathy manages IDC's Asia/Pacific outbound research Survey Call Center in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing, which provides end-to-end solutions to seamlessly design and execute demand-side surveys. She identifies, qualifies, and manages the various agency partnerships in Asia/Pacific to complement IDC’s survey needs.
Ganapathy joined IDC in 2006, with 15 years of experience in the IT and electronics industries. She contributed in the Total Customer Experience (TCE) and Quality Management in Hewlett Packard/Compaq for several years, driving customer satisfaction and channeling TCE studies across Asia/Pacific countries. Her prior experience were in quality and reliability functions in Thomson-Toshiba and NEC.
Ganapathy holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Management) from the University of Western Sydney, an advanced diploma in Quality Engineering, and a diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.Team: Asia/Pacific End-User Research & Statistics Group,
