Joining IDC Bulgaria in May 2006 as a research analyst, Marina Kostova undertook PC and systems research as part of IDC's program of annual studies and quarterly market trackers. She also conducted research on the Bulgarian telecommunications markets and engaged in end-user research projects. Currently, she has moved to a new regional role in supporting the disk storage systems research in CEMA.

Before coming to IDC, Kostova worked as a market researcher and consultant for foreign investors interested in the Bulgarian IT and consumer markets. As a marketing and product specialist for the IT company Icygen, she was responsible for marketing collateral focused on business software products and services.
