Research Analyst, IDC Germany
Matthias Kraus joined IDC in January 2007 as a research analyst. He is responsible for examining trends and industry developments in the IT services market. As research analyst, Kraus has authored a number of studies and has managed several consulting projects on IT service management (ITSM), cloud computing, managed print services (MPS), and document solutions.
Kraus is frequently quoted in the IT and business press and is a frequent speaker at conferences and client events.
Prior to joining IDC, Kraus worked for seven years as a product manager for m+s Elektronik AG and Lexmark. For five years during this period he was responsible for delivering market and competitive analysis information within the services team.
Kraus has a degree in business administration, specializing in marketing, from the University of Applied Science Würzburg and Sheffield Hallam University (UK).
