Dickie Chang is a Senior Market Analyst at IDC's Asia/Pacific Client Devices Research Group. Based in Hong Kong, Dickie tracks the PC, media tablet, and eReader market across 16 countries in the region. He is responsible for the quarterly sizing, forecasting, and analysis of PC and media market competitive trends.

Dickie has appeared in print and on TV, including Bloomberg and national publications such as Digitimes and Liberty Times.

Dickie joined IDC in 2006, where he spent the first four years with IDC Taiwan as a PC analyst.  Prior to IDC, Dickie was a Product Marketing Manager for Toshiba Taiwan, where he was responsible for the marketing of Toshiba notebooks, including new product launches, pricing, and promotion strategy.

Dickie holds a Masters of Business Administration from Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Cheng-Chi University.
