Waldemar Schuster has joined IDC in April 2007, to carry out the storage market studies in Latin America. During his development at IDC he also participated and developed projects related to IT Investment Trends in Government for the Brazilian Market.

Today he works in coordination with local analysts in order to obtain and analyze all market information generated by the countries, giving support and working on regional trackers.

Schuster has 17 years of experience on IT companies including experience superior to six years in Storage and Business Continuity Solutions.

Prior to joining IDC, Schuster worked for GPlus, a Brazilian Company considered one of the main HDS resellers in Brazil, as System Engineer, focused on technical sales. Waldemar has also worked as Pre-sales storage manager for Tline and Field Engineer for Xerox as well.

He has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo and he is fluent in English and Spanish. He also carries several certificates regarding sales and storage courses in Brazil and USA.
