Senior Research Analyst, IT Services, IDC Middle East, Africa, & Turkey

Omar Saleem joined IDC's Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dubai in 2010 as a senior analyst in the IT Services team. He conducts primary and secondary research of the IT services market and contributes to consulting projects in the MEA region.

Prior to joining IDC, Saleem was a consultant with Agitavi, a New Zealand-based consulting company, where he oversaw projects in the Middle East as well as expansion in Pakistan. His past experience includes work as a product analyst with an Internet consultancy firm in Kuwait and as a production and systems analyst in IT Operations at The Resource Group, one of the largest BPO services providers in Pakistan.

Omar Saleem is a certified associate in project management with a master of business degree based on majors in international business and entrepreneurship from Mälardalen University in Sweden, and a bachelor's degree in computer sciences from Pakistan.
