Yang-Lin Lim is a Market Analyst with IDC's Asia/Pacific Client Devices team. She is involved in building IDC's successful research tracker programs and producing core market data used across all of IDC's Asia/Pacific research reports and consulting projects.
Based in Malaysia, Yang-Lin is responsible for performing data quality checks for the PC Monitor and Thin Client trackers across the Asia/Pacific excluding Japan (APEJ) region. In addition, she is also responsible for compiling data and generating Thin Client deliverables for regional clients.
Before joining IDC, Yang Lin was with Dell as a Sales Support Analyst. Her main responsibility was to analyze the sales performance of global large enterprises. She also supported the SMB segment for purchase order and demand backend system logic. Prior to this, Yang Lin worked in Agilent Technologies as a Supply Chain Analyst where she was responsible for co-supervising various inventory initiatives to control inventory levels.
Yang-Lin graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honors) from the University of Sciences Malaysia where she majored in Network and System Management.
