Rosalind Craven joined IDC in August 2010 as a senior research analyst in the EMEA Consumer Mobile team. Based in London, she is responsible for IDCs mobile forecasts for Western Europe, as well as taking part in ongoing research into issues affecting the consumer mobile market.
Before joining IDC, Craven worked as telecoms analyst at country risk and industry analysis firm Business Monitor International, specializing in the EMEA region. During her time at Business Monitor, she worked extensively to expand coverage of telecoms markets in the Middle East and Africa, notably expanding significantly the depth of research into Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to her time at Business Monitor, Craven gained significant knowledge of telecoms pricing models at niche tariff research firm Tarifica.
Craven graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in 2006 with a BA in Arabic language.
