Beatriz Martin joined IDC in November 2010 as a research analyst for the European Personal Computing Group, based in London. She is responsible for research on the Western European tablet market and supports PC and tablet client liaison across the region. She works on the EMEA Quarterly Tablet Tracker, contributing to market analysis documents studying market trends, vendor performance, and forecast assumptions in the context of client devices. 

Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Martin worked for a distribution company in the retail industry. Working in the trading department, she was involved in various product management projects, including market research, business development, sales analysis, communications, and merchandising.

Ms. Martin graduated in 2008 from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) in business management and holds a master's in international business and development from Birkbeck College, University of London. She is a native Spanish speaker and can also speak English, French, and Italian.
