José Curto is Senior Research Analyst at IDC Spain. As country analyst, he covers the Spanish and Portuguese IT markets, analyzing and tracking its evolution and major trends and helping in the construction of high-quality models, forecasts and studies. He also collaborates in media activities.

Prior to joining IDC, Curto focused his career on IT services/business intelligence and education, and was business intelligence area manager and professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Curto holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and is currenty studying for an international executive MBA at Instituto de Empresa Business School.
