Rajani Singh is a Research Analyst with IDC's U.S. Quarterly PC Tracker and Personal Computing Programs. She provides deep-dive qualitative analysis on competition, trends, and technology. She is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and forecasting data on the U.S. PC market. In this role, she gathers and analyzes information from a large roster of PC vendors, distributors, retailers, and component and software makers, and applies her market expertise in forecasting and outlook assessment related to products, customers, and channels in the U.S. market.
Prior to IDC, Ms. Singh was Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts with the duty of designing financial models and researching financial markets. Her primary focus was on portfolio risk management,
executive compensation and its correlation with stock prices. While at UMass, she also contributed to the Mass Business Report, focusing on regional micro and macro economic trends, and created cross section/time series analysis for top firms listed under Mass-Bloomberg Index. Before joining University of Massachusetts Ms. Singh worked for Citicorp.
Rajani holds a MBA degree in Finance and Accounting from University of Massachusetts. She is also level two candidate for CFA, CAIA and FRM certifications.
