Daniel Pang is a Research Manager at IDC's Asia/Pacific Client Devices Research team, where he oversees PC and mobile device research across the ASEAN region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Daniel manages a team of country analysts to size up and forecast the PC, monitor, mobile phone and media tablet markets, as well as identify key market trends in the region. His responsibilities include monitoring the development of new tracker programs for emerging markets.
Prior to joining IDC, Daniel was a Consumer Research Manager at The Nielsen Company where he managed key accounts across a variety of sectors, and specialized in the automotive industry. In his time at Nielsen he contributed greatly to driving the growth of non-FMCG clients and boosting Nielsen's profile in Malaysia.
Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a major in Marketing from the University of South Australia.
