Siow-Meng is a research manager for telecommunications at IDC Australia.  Siow-Meng is responsible for research and analysis of the Australian telecommunications market focusing on enterprise services.  Current research areas focus on network services (IPVPN and Ethernet), managed services, enterprise mobility and unified communications; and advising market players how to gain an edge in the competitive environment.   

Siow-Meng has 15 years of experience in the telecom industry working for the telecom regulator in Singapore as a spectrum manager, and working for Current Analysis as a telecom analyst. At Current Analysis, Siow-Meng was solely responsible for the research the enterprise telecom services in the Asia-Pacific region as well as wholesale services on a global basis. 

Siow-Meng has a Master of Communications Management from Coventry University in the UK and a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
