Karim Bahloul is Research and Consulting Director in IDC France. He is managing the French analyst team and is responsible for the realization and coordination of consulting projects, Research, and client liaison for projects.

Since joining IDC in 1999, he has been responsible for the running of many quantitative and qualitative projects of all sizes and methodologies, including reports on CRM, BI, ERP, IT infrastructure consolidation, and the security market. He has also produced white papers on performance management, storage, OS migration, mobility, and security.

Bahloul has managed many consulting projects for major IT players, covering a range of needs such as competitive analysis, market sizing, market positioning, product pricing, and resellers’ strategies. Karim is a regular speaker at industry events and conferences on different kind of topics, from software market to services and infrastructure market, including virtualization and green IT.

He has a degree in economics from the University of Paris XIII.
