Senior Market Analyst, Client System Research, IDC China
As a senior market analyst for IDC China, Nick Mu focuses on the research and analysis of China’s PC market. While actively involved in channel and geographical research of China’s PC commercial and consumer markets, Nick specializes in quantitative and qualitative analysis, market forecasting, competitive analysis and end-user studies. Nick’s main responsibilities include questionnaire design, field research, conducting in-depth interviews, data processing and analysis, as well as writing and delivering specialized reports. During his time at IDC, Nick has established strong ties with both vendors and channels. He is also responsible for consultation projects in related markets.
Nick has contributed to projects such as IDC’s China Quarterly PC Tracker, China Quarterly PC Segment Tracker, China Quarterly PC Provincial Tracker, and China Quarterly PC City-level Tracker.
Nick already has six years of working experience in the marketing research industry before he joined IDC. He has worked for GfK Marketing Consulting (China) Co., Ltd. While there, he was involved in implementing the company's new projects and following-up on their progress, taking responsibility for data quality control, and other related work.
Nick graduated from the Capital University of Economics and Business with a bachelor’s degree in Statistics.
