Market Analyst, Client Devices Research
Manish leads the internal operations of the PC research, primarily responsible for Monthly/Quarterly PC Trackers. He is involved in building IDC's successful tracker programs and producing core market data used across IDC research reports and consulting projects. He also supports consulting engagements and IDC's state-level PC tracking across India, participating from ground-based fieldwork to final presentations.
Prior to joining IDC India team at the start of 2013, Manish was in Virtusa Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. as Business Analyst (Engineer Specialist). In this role, he was responsible for gathering the client requirement (British Telecom) and designing end-to-end solutions, specifically in “Trouble to Resolve Journey”. In addition to this, he also coordinated with component, coding & testing team to get the designs implemented.
Earlier, Manish interned with Panasonic India for research around ruggedized computing devices (Panasonic Toughbooks). In this role, he helped Panasonic team identify the core field applications in different organizations and supported the sales team on how ‘Toughbooks’ can be targeted to this audience. The key accounts, which he managed as part of his efforts, include Ministry of Defense, Department of Telecommunication & IT, Indian Oil Corporation & M/s Ranbaxy Ltd. Etc.
Manish holds an MBA degree from Amity Business School, Noida and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Singhania University, Rajasthan.
