Jerome Dominguez is a market analyst at IDC’s Asia/Pacific Client Devices Research team. Based in Manila, he focuses on market sizing, trend analysis, forecasting, and reporting on the mobile phone and tablet markets in the Philippines. Dominguez regularly engages with vendor communities, channels, and end users within the aforementioned markets — providing insights into and analysis of technology trends.
Along with this role, he also contributes to various IDC consulting projects including enterprise mobility studies, client profiling with regard to maturity in cloud computing, and smart city benchmarking. Dominguez is also a regular keynote speaker in devices and mobility events in the Philippines.
Dominguez has been with IDC since 2013, with experience in managing all Client Devices Trackers. He started out as a PC and monitor analyst and later on spearheaded the Projector Tracker for the Philippines, building the contact base and relationships with vendors and channels from scratch. His thought leadership is regularly featured in several local and international media including Channel NewsAsia, Tech in Asia, Rappler, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and BusinessWorld.
