Research Manager, Business Value Strategy Practice
Matthew Marden is a Research Manager on the IDC Business Value Strategy team. He is responsible for carrying out custom business value research engagements and consulting projects for clients in a number of technology areas with a focus on determining the return on investment (ROI) of their use of enterprise technologies.
Before joining the IDC Business Value Strategy team, Matthew was a Senior Research Analyst with the IDC CEMA Telecommunications team in Prague, Czech Republic. His research there focused on telecom services and business models, with a concentration on emerging EMEA markets.
Matthew also worked for two years on the Central & Eastern European research team of an international commercial property consultancy and as an attorney for a law firm in Washington, DC.
Matthew holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
