Abstract
This IDC Survey examines the financial services sector's adoption patterns and plans for industry clouds and solutions, as well as the needs and expectations of industry cloud users. We identify the subindustries with the highest current adoption across geo regions and organizational sizes, as well as the most popular attributes of industry clouds for banking, insurance, and capital markets. Buyers' preferences and ratings for industry cloud vendors are also included.
This survey was conducted as part of IDC's 2023 Industry CloudPath Survey, which polled 2,145 users across 5 continents and 11 countries, to collect information on overall adoption and timing, drivers and inhibitors, purchasing preferences, attitudes toward buying channels, behavioral trends, and cloud adoption and buying intentions for 300+ industry-specific applications.
