Abstract
This IDC study presents forecast data for the worldwide PC market for 2024–2028.
"So far, 2024 is shaping up to be another slow year," states Linn Huang, research vice president, Devices and Display at IDC. "The good news is projected 2.0% growth for this year would seem to suggest that the bleeding has been staunched. The bad news is 2.0% is a very meager rebound after two consecutive years of contraction rates in the teens. Such is this year: cautious buying amidst soft fundamentals."
