As the worldwide economy continues to improve, capital markets normalize and IT spending forecasts accelerate their track upward, IDC recently completed its third annual Customer Wants & Needs research project to understand the changing role of technology financing programs. IDC surveyed 208 IT organizations, normalized by company size and industry vertical. Preliminary analysis of the survey findings shows a sustained preference for, and a continued reliance upon, IT leasing and financing strategies even as economic conditions improve.
This web conference will address the following key issues:
- How have underlying IT leasing and financing preferences changed and evolved as the economy has begun to improve?
- What service offerings, financing structures and pricing promotions will shift IT leasing and financing preferences?
- How will emerging IT technology platforms such as Software-as-a-Service and Cloud Computing impact well-established leasing practices?
- What financing program features will IT buyers require of their IT leasing and financing providers through 2014?
Session Speakers:
- Joseph C. Pucciarelli, Program Director, Technology Financing & Executive Strategies
- Jennifer Koppy, Research Manager, Technology Financing Strategies
