Per Andersen
Managing Director

Since 1996, Andersen has been managing director of IDC Nordic. With a total staff of 40, IDC Nordic has offices in Copenhagen and Stockholm. Andersen has also been appointed Group VP of IDC EMEA.
From 1990 to 1996, Andersen was the manager of IDC's European Unix and Client/Server Center, publishing market research studies on the European market to IT vendors and users. From 1996 to 2006, Andersen was also the manager of the European Software group.
Andersen holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Prior to joining IDC, Andersen worked as a consultant in the IT industry for seven years, responsible for the introduction and use of information technology in Danish organizations. This included being an adviser to the Danish government, and establishing procurement agreements on PCs and departmental multiuser Unix systems.
