Per-Arne Sandegren

Per-Arne Sandegren is a senior research analyst at IDC Sweden. His main areas of expertise are in telecoms and datacommunications.
Before joining IDC in mid-2003, Sandegren was an equity analyst in the finance industry, focusing on telecoms operators and telecom equipment manufacturers for a global fund.
From 1993, Sandegren spent over six years in different sections of Ericsson's mobile communications units. He was one of the leading forces that created Ericsson's global business intelligence organization. He has also held several positions within competitive and market intelligence organizations.
Prior to that, Sandegren worked as a research analyst at the National Defense Research Establishment (FOA/FOI).
He holds an MSc in information technology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. He has also studied economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan).
