Brian joined IDC in September 2005 as Senior Research Analyst for primarily the IT services and telecom sectors. Brian has extensive experience from the telecom industry having worked for both TDC and SONOFON. At TDC he worked with regulatory economics, finance, corporate strategy and business development. While at SONOFON he was an Industrial Analyst working with industry analysis, major financial projects (acquisitions and restructuring) and long range business planning.
Brian's main focus areas are research, consulting and presentations related to telecom (e.g IP telephony and mobility), IT services and outsourcing in the Nordic region. Further business intelligence applications and solutions are also within Brian's scope.
Brian has established himself as IDC's leading European analyst within the field of machine-to-machine communications (M2M) incl. RFID and telemetry - a fast growing area which includes many new business opportunities for the IT and telco vendor community.
Brian has a Masters degree in International Business from Aarhus School of Business. In addition, during this period Brian held a part-time job in a local business research company, Aalund Business Research.
